Tuned in Bb - the most accessible and adaptable tuning - this cornet comes complete with an ABS mouthpiece and a soft-case.

While all the pipes and the bell are made of ABS, to ensure smooth, friction-free playability, the valves and valve housing have been made from metal since plastic tends to 'stick' as the instrument warms up, meaning that, after just a short period, the valves can become stiff and stop sliding completely, no matter how much valve oil is applied. Thankfully, this is not a problem with the Fazley ART-CN160 cornet, leaving nothing but a hard-wearing and affordable introductory instrument that weighs just 500 grams, has a 122mm diameter bell and a 11.7mm bore.
